i have some things i agree with and some things i don't? but also you didn't mention the biggest offender (to me) which is interesting hihi.

i think his hair styling has not been it bc it's super inconsistent - sometimes (like ystd) they dont style it at all and sometimes they style it rly prettily (tsd3 in seoul day 1/2!) but that has been happening for a long time, especially when his hair length is either not rly long or rly short, they usually just... leave it, which hey, jeno always looks good but it's kind of weird when u see everyone else with very prettily styled hair. it seems the stylists always decide on one member who will not get styled that day, maybe bc theyre in a rush, maybe bc they think they dont need it, idk.

as for the make-up, i think they've changed strategies from tsd2. in tsd2 in the opening con, especially on the day they did the beyondlive, i was surprised by how cakey they made the make up look. i assume they wanted to make sure that they looked good on cam so they did camera/filming make up? it looked good on cam but on site, it looked like a lot, esp if you were sitting barricade (which i was). the dreamies looked unreal nevertheless but their faces were rly working overtime. for tsd3, they make up looks don't fully translate on cam but actually look ridiculously good and stunning on site. the only jeno make up look that had me :/ for now was the eye make up on the last day of the seoul con, it looked a lot better up close during the m&g but on stage it looked rly... idk? like too much? it didn't really fit his facial structure. again, he still looked good bc jeno always looks good, but it definitely wasn't his best make-up look.

at the end of the day, as long as the boys like the looks (esp knowing how close they are with their staff), i don't want to be too overly negative about it but i can definitely see why you're unsatisfied (esp with the hair styling) anon.

i think we are definitely overlooking the biggest perpetrator though, which is the clothes?????

for tsd2, all the outfits were at worst good. like yeah maybe the diggity section fits werent fire but they Looked Good regardless, and we had the stunning greek gods inspired fits and the opening fits with the holes that looked amazing.

for tsd3, the only fit that really looks good is the breathing section fits. it's very coming of age and modern and its light and comfy to perform with.

the opening fits are alright, i like the harness elements but overall they're not impressive, i'd even say they wouldn't look good on anybody other than the dreamies. the same goes for the smoothie/skateboard section, absolutely horrendous fits. way too hot to perform in, do not look objectively good.

the jackets for better than gold look so filmsy in person and they do in pictures too, those little stones look like they'll fall off at any moment, and they don't even look good in general.

the candy outfits have cute details but they don't fit together? and the colours are bright but the coordination of the colours and the accessories they chose just looks like so much (esp jenos)? the og yoghurt shake fits were sm cuter.

the robes are cute, esp the addition of their animals, but the bfe robes are so much cuter and look a lot better (i dont even want to imagine how hot it is to perform in those). the dream()scape shirts are cute and the pants they chose are v cute too, but compared to their encore custom designed shirts they also fall flat.

i just feel like they gave 0 efforts into the styling this time around. their faces and performances are hard carrying all the fits and it's so sad because tsd2 had such phenomenal styling. i know it's much too late for the fits to be improved on but i rly hope for the encore they do better and do the dreamies justice.
