Raidou Kuzunoha: this one is tricky, as I'm torn between samurai and gunbreaker, but i think i'll go with gunbreaker since sword + gun and it fits him thematically more than samurai, i feel

Narumi: Machinist with some ninja cross-class in there (as a homage to his past as a spy)

Gouto: looks you dead in the eye carbuncle

Tae: arcanist, if only bc i feel she'd vibe with tataru and bc i feel it fits her?? Yeah

Nagi: Samurai, definitely, she feels like a good fit for the class in general, as well as her dramatic vibe lmao

Dahn: ninja, hands down. I mean he pretty much is a ninja anyways...

Okay, self-indulgent time:

Atsuo: Samurai again, as he is pretty orthadox in terms of fighting, that or gunbreaker, sticking to raidou traditions

Shun'ya: dark knight for.... mortal gods spoiler reasons /shifty eyes

Rin: As Nahobino, he'd be red mage, as a human, arcanist, definitely

Aogami: steeples fingers. okay, either monk or paladin but, like, more magic in there somehow

Tsukuyomi: Ninja or... dancer. Yeah. Ninja-dancer. Yes.

Abdiel: paladin. No contest. The most anal paladin ever.

Yakumo: Reaper or a really assholish samurai, which are apparently abundant in kugane so

okay, first off, gore magala. I like everything about them from the fight, to their battle theme, their design and, of course, the armour and dual blade weapons. I love those dual blade weapons...

secondly zinogre, because he is FUN and the theme rocks too, also it's very cool how he has a symbiotic relationship with thunderbugs to use his lightning element, such a neat detail

thirdly valstrax, because again the DESIGN, and also i really liked how the music cuts out when it does its supersonic ambush attack. the dragonheart skill is pretty cool as well, and tbh, i like stacking it with resuscitate and agitator to just make high dmg dual blades. hehehe dual blades go brrrrr

and lastly, technically not a monster, but i miss the moofahs... i liked how after a quest you could go hug the moofahs in bherna village weh

oh boy howdy i hope you're prepared for a (checks word doc) 10000 word rant about him and his very in depth history i spent an embarrassing amount of time fleshing out, COMPLETE with his adoptive father's own history (Atsuo, aka Raidou Kuzunoha XV). i just totally lost control and now i've ended up with an unofficial sequel to dsrk2 that pipelines direct into SMTV.

so, um, you may need to be more specific about what you wanna know about shun'ya otherwise i will write you an essay about everything oTL

i will say tho he is VERY pretty and VERY cute and he intentionally plays the part of brainless beauty bc a) it annoys tsukuyomi, b) it annoys abdiel and c) bc it annoys both of those two they tend to ignore him when he goes off and does his own thing bc it's just him being an airheaded moron. he also finds it makes people - and demons! - underestimate him if he comes across as a bit of an airhead, and he is ruthless in exploiting that. it helps that combined with his good looks, people find it hard to stay mad at him when he flashes his no thoughts, head empty :D at them

so, rip rin... he's definitely gonna fall for shun'ya's act - at first

Because I needed an 'adult' character for a role in Mortal Gods that the canon smtv cast couldn't fulfil, and after some brainstorming decided, hey, this is smt, it is my fic, so why not bring some dsrk love into this too? Honestly, Rin needed someone like Raidou in his corner, like Naoki did, so i decided to craft the best damn Raidou OC i could.

It's.... kind of gotten out of hand tho. I have three word docs dedicated solely to Shun'ya and Atsuo's backstories and relationships and little fic snippets that i may or may not post (Raidou OCs are. very niche. I think like only me and three ppl would read 'em lmao)
