Hello, and thank you for this good question. The zine maintains exclusive rights to the work through the end of the project. You'll be permitted to post the full work(s) during the Leftover Sales period and have full rights to make prints and merchandise of your art after the zine finishes dispersing profits. During the pre-order period, you can post cropped or selected writing from your piece(s) using a template provided. We want some of the zine to remain a mystery for buyers.

No need to reapply. We will look over your samples regardless of rating. While yes, we'd prefer SFW pieces, we understand that some prefer writing NSFW.

Intimacy of that nature is fine for samples, and your application will be judged in good faith as you didn't know the rating guidelines before applying. For fics you'll be writing in the zine itself upon acceptance, we're looking for the same level of canon-typical content, so allusions to NSFW are accepted so long as they're kept tame on a case-by-case basis. Feedback will be given throughout the creation process, so no need to worry; if it veers too close for comfort, mods will nudge you back on course.

We will not be permitting NSFW content in the zine. A suggestive tease would be permitted. In general, our zine has a max rating of PG-13 or Teen.

Thank you for your question! The manga is currently behind in comparison to the light novels, but ahead of the anime after manga volume 8, chapter 40.

In reference to the manga, the main zine will cover up to chapter 40 (volume 8) and the digital-only spoiler zine will cover beyond that point.

We're so excited to see your application! Writers and spot artists will not be assigned to one another, as we want to give the chance for illustrators to gravitate toward works that inspire them first. But if you're having trouble at any point, mods will be there to assist you in reaching out and making a connection to collaborate! We can also handle matching on an as-requested basis, if desired.

All writers will have their work proofread by our writing mod before submitting to the zine, so you won't need to edit your own work.

We'll do our utmost to ensure all contributors are compensated with a copy of the zine no matter where in the world they might be (though there are some locations we're legally unable to ship to.) In the event this happens, you will still receive a digital copy of the zine free of charge!

You can put both separated portfolios into the same folder for ease of access, and mods will review each separately on their own merits.
