Oh you're on retrospring now! It's movie anon from cc! I didn't know you liked wes Anderson movies, that's so exciting. I love his use of color and the way he sets up his scenes sooo much... also the weird characters. (Now if he only cast more actors of color....) lol but which movies are your favorite? Off the top of my head, mine are Fantastic Mr. Fox (absolute fave) and Grand Budapest Hotel
YAY hi movie anon! tbh I’ve seen 4 of his movies and I’ve really enjoyed 2/4, which are the exact two that you mentioned! I agree, I like the mise-en-scène of his films and his use of symmetry and color. I thought it was especially cool that all of those things he is know from in terms of design and arrangement translated into his animated work with fantastic Mr fox too! I am obsessed w that movie, it just makes me rlly happy lol. I didn’t enjoy life aquatic or isle or dogs that much. I still need to see The French Dispatch, I’ve been meaning to watch it for ages!
