Okay I actually thought really hard ab this and my final definitive answer is- it depends on the type of horror movie. It's heavily situational, because they're all smart in their own ways, and all of them have potential to die first depending on circumstances. However my best guess, in any scenario would be Kaoru just because I could see him being clumsy and accidentally stumbling into something or sacrificing himself.
