before it used to b more conventional: draw sketch or two, do lineart, paste colors, render.. but ig nowadays sometimes i skip right away doing lineart and just clean the sketch, it rlly depends! also sometimes i'll look for inspiration/a reference to what i wanna draw before starting, other times i do a pose and then i go look if i can find something similar on pinterest or google (especially for things like hands or clothes or perspective). when i did lineless art it was sketch > color block > draw details over it > clean color blocks and finish rendering, it was fun but it also meant having to figure out colors early on the drawing process 🤔 which is not fun for me HAHAH
