Genshintwt doesn’t give a single shit about good writing nor representation and will happily eat up dropped conflict and plot lines (Navia and Clorinde, Wrio and Lyney, etc), plot holes, Deus ex machinas, and characters being isolated from each other and not allowed to interact as long as you slap on shallow ship bait and feed into shallow cultural stereotypes Genshintwt believes in.

The only ones that feel like they push ships are Sumeru and Sumeru twt made that everyone's problem. Remember how they act at anyone who ships Alhaitham with a character other than Kaveh.

fontaine truly shows that genshintwt only cares about substance, bcs everyone forgot how a massive piece of shit the archon quest was and how badly the characters and their relationships were handled, getting rid of all possible nuance that could actually make them complex.

This is the type of shit that pisses me off about Hoyo fandom. "omg I need the company to give me official yaoi, I can't accept that no ships are canon and I can ship whatever I want". It might be because I love Kaveh, but I do think he’s flawed. The problem is that he appeals to a lot of young/immature fans who can relate to him and project all of their issues onto him and portray him as an eternally suffering and always insecure martyr because that’s how they see and want to see themselves. Meanwhile, from what I’ve seen, most people who like Mavuika and see her relatable are adults (hell, I would say that her flaws and issues are ones a lot of adults, especially women deal with).

Honestly I think I would like Kaveh more if he was as flawed as he initially seemed to be. Instead people want him to be a complete martyr where nothing is his fault and that is just so boring. Forget having evil characters, Hoyo fans think a character having any flaws at all is the worst evil of all and it's why the game feels so boring.
