I already had a bit of the basics down about 2 years ago but I couldn’t really speak much then a few months ago I took up learning again and at first I’d just use the books I bought to learn the basics and then I started just immersing myself through following kr twt accounts and talking to other friends who can speak Korean or are learning. Also learning through lyrics after having a better foundation also helped a lot. I was more active in my learning before I started working so recently I’ve been just passively consuming and talking here and writing diary entries with what I know tho I notice some new words and they stay if they’re important. I hope to make a phase again where I learn more topics
