Does Darjeeling do anything special to take care of his scales? favorite lotions? do they need shining? is he neat or messy about it

i think at most he lets himself have a nice warm soak in the tub if shedding gets irritating/messy... a good scrub but not much more than that. he keeps clean but isn't too concerned with appearances
