Hi, sorry to bother you but I think you're the best for answering this silly question.
So uh i think i kinda have a crush on someone, like i feel so giddy, excited, and my heart beats a little whenever i talk to them here on twitter. BUT at the same time i also feel happy (?) when i know they have a quiet interest in someone else and hoping the best for both of them. At first i was like i should be the first one to tell them that i'm into them not that new person, but then oh well both of them are kinda cute tho. Still i wish we could talk more haha. So what do you think? Do i have a crush on that person? Or am i just feeling weird?

Hm... That’s quite an interesting question. I think you might have a little crush on them, but when you discover that they’re interested in someone else, your mind as if tells you to take a step back. Initially, you ponder whether you should confess your feelings, as you believe it should be you instead of someone new. Those butterflies in your stomach feel too real for you. However, upon seeing how adorable they are together, you realize where you truly belong.
“I should know where I stand.”
“Good for them, though. They look cute together.”
“But I missed talking to them.”
“If only I somehow confessed my feeling to them, would they accept me? Could it bring us to talk to each other more now?”
“Do I really stand a chance?”
I suppose the reason for your actions is rooted in fear of rejection, knowing that there is a possibility of the person your crush actually wants is not you.
