kak mel, ijin pengen share masalah promosi manhwa di webtoon id yang lagi ramai dibicarakan. Sekalian buat diskusi jg boleh kalo ada yg mau nambahin/koreksi :-)
aku perhatiin ada bbrp materi promosi di server id yg sama persis kayak di server thai, design banner-nya pun sama. (ex: rangkuman cerita xx detik, etc).
Jadi kepikiran apa materi promosi pun dapat dari pusat ya? Atau mungkin pusat untuk server asia? (aku ga ngikutin yg taiwan dan server lainnya jd kurang tau, tp sejauh ini yg thailand dan indo hampir sama)
Oh, event free coins pun juga ada yg sama. Contohnya dulu tiap minggu ada event baca kategori cowok red flag, cowok nerd, dll. Ada juga free coins di judul tertentu. Design bannernya semua sama.

begini kalo menurut pandangan dari aku, perlu diingat kalo dunia WEBTOON ini udah masuk ke dalam lingkup bisnis, yang artinya segala tujuan akan dikembalikan untuk tujuan bisnis. pastinya tujuan utama bisnis itu: mendapatkan profit besar dan menguntungkan perusahaan
berdasarkan pov aku, perubahan over dari wt ID berlangsungnya secara bertahap, bukan tiba-tiba. aku pribadi bukan pembaca wt dari jaman lama, sekitar tahun 2016/2017 aku baru masuk ke dunia webtoon. webtoon2 yang aku baca secara keseluruhan itu webtoon lokal. mungkin karena aku kurang familiar dengan manhwa, aku ngerasa kalau manhwa hampir gaada atau memang benar belum ada manhwa masuk waktu itu. kemudian di tahun 2018, barulah aku sadar atas eksistensi manhwa dari True Beauty.
titik balik atau awal mula perubahan aku rasa start dari sini. karena True Beauty yang terkenal dan peminat yang ga terhitung rendah maupun menengah. (mungkin) dari True Beauty juga ada track record peningkatan dari pembelian di wt KOR. karena di kala itu, aku sadar mulai banyak orang yang wara wiri usahain buka akun wt KOR dan beli koin untuk baca episode terbaru. dari sini udah keliatan kalo impact dari manhwa lisensi tuh besar banget.
terus lanjut lagi di tahun 2019 manhwa SIBAP masuk, dan benar impactnya tuh ga kalah besar sama True Beauty. observasi dari dua manhwa besar ini yang bikin mereka ubah business design. selang pergantian tahun, kuantitas manhwa dan webtoon lokal jomplang banget. pergantian yang dilakukan secara tersirat ini nyatanya diterima (secara tidak sadar) oleh mayoritas pengguna/pembaca webtoon, termasuk aku sendiri.
sedihnya, cara terbaru untuk meningkatkan profit perusahaan ini malah boomerang jadi menurunkan citra perusahaan. tapi ya kita balik lagi ke titik awal 🥲 yang mereka mau itu mengambil profit sebanyak2nya, dan (mungkin) berdasarkan observasi mereka, cara ini menghasilkan profit terbesar. even if jadi silent killing to the local authors.
semua observasi pastinya masuk ke wt KOR dan jadi bahan pertimbangan untuk gunain platform di negara lain as investasi. jujur ini cara emg jahat banget but yah that’s how business works 😭 sama halnya kaya perubahan dari suatu perusahaan yang bikin beberapa pegawai/karyawan hilang pekerjaan, memang rugiin satu atau dua pihak, but everything untuk tujuan bisnis so it’s an “i don’t care situation” for them.

Apparently all those angry peeps in the replies confused the Viridescent Tiara artist with someone else. I saw a comment on the original post about that. So they got all those angry replies for something they didn't even do. Looks like they deleted the Lan illustration now too. I feel so bad for them :((

well then~ i would say i’m an independent type hehe 😬 i don’t really like to rely on others and definitely would do anything on my own. maybe i could say similar type like ailette from <The Perks of Being an S-Class Heroine> ? you know since she’s doing everything on her own 😂 (because she’s op lol)

Yeondam is the publisher of the novel, maybe that's why it's under Daon and Yeondam. But the one who uploaded the preview was Daon. Before educating other people please pay attention to what you are doing.

What does 230 panels mean?
panel is like paper sheet in digital drawing. usually for webtoons, each chapter can spend up to 100-120 panels, or on certain time could be less than 100 panels. for the last chapter of Saving My Sweetheart, the artist drew as many as 230 panels (can also be said like 230 paper sheets). thus the amount is doubled compared to other normal webtoon chapter
