since you're gonna make another looks thread for half of 2024, why not wait until the end of june to post it? then you can make another thread for second half too haha we should do this frequently to commemorate/archive some of the most memorable and iconic looks. also easier for future references just in case
yessss I was gonna wait until end of june to post but I'm thinking abt gathering up submissions from now so that there'll be ~more~ people getting involved!!!! sdhfkdsfk that's what I thought too, I used to make threads for every events but not every looks wow me so this might be the better ways to gather up those memorable/iconic look :D

idk if you saw but the blackface situation is pretty severe, it's not just wang yibo, i saw on xiaohongshu that huang jingyu, zhong chuxi have it too, it seems to be an arc where they use blackface to go undercover to a village
haven't checked xhs/weibo but oh god I had an inkling that there's a possibility that zcx is doing it too. it's so fucked up considering this film received the mayday slot box office and not just the actors but the director should've been held accountable for this situation, but I doubt this might escalate though we'll see...

have you ever seen movie love, rosie? i really love the missed timing, second chance trope portrayed in the film. after seeing lx and zyt's acting, i think they'd suit the characters, if say there were cdrama remake. they're so good at those meloromance vibe. i really wish we'll get something close to love, rosie in cdrama haha

Is Guan Xiaotong still popular in China? Has she had popular dramas in recent years?
Seeing that she's still being invited to prestigious events I think she still holds a great footing. I might not be the best person to answer since I don't follow her closely but Twenty Your Live On (2020 & 2022) seems to be well-received and she recently filmed a Daylight drama too. Her recent releases might not be a hit (Mr & Mrs. Chen that released in 2023 hardly made any traction but as someone who watched like 15 eps of it I'll blame it on the writing moreso than anything) - I think she's still doing okay

Hi! I kind of forgot how I found your account but I like your fashion contents and your C-Ent related posts. I happen to also like any TV shows that makes me laugh out loud. There were many times wherein you talked about the TV show Succession a lot and it got me curious so I watched a bit of it but it wasn't as fun and compelling as I thought it'd be. May I ask what got you hooked about it?
I might say that Succession could be more stressful than it is fun since but it's a compelling show that really works for me since I liked dark comedy/satires and how unfiltered it could be (Logan's one-liner insults are one of my absolute favorite). I think people describes it as it being more drama sprinkled with dark comedy so it's definitely not the kind that makes you laugh out loud for how wholesome it is but rather you laugh at the people in here because of how horrible the situation or people could be (I still think that Succession is one of the best comedy series in the recent age despite this though). Also, as someone who used to work at the media, I think Succession does a great job on depicting real-life media and corporate power struggles in their own dramatic ways. Every characters in the shows are absolutely horrible people but they are interesting and amusing; also loved the way the show is written in overall -- and the scores. The scores are so, so, amazing that it beyond me how they have yet to hand Nicholas Britell an Emmy or Golden Globe awards.

Thoughts on the commotion fans make over the amount of brand deals their favourite actors have & the arguments that ensue between fandoms? I think people are missing the plot. They’re actors not influencers so I don’t understand why it should be a competition.
