I actually do think there were! During their years, Gojo had his good moments. She actually did enjoy things if they were just making out because he could be nice and needy, and he was big about cuddling too whenever he came home to visit from school. But he was also a HUGE brat and a selfish arrogant shit in his later teen years too. I'd say, after school, he sort of learned to tame it down, so he wasn't always as rough and tried to woo her in his own way. (Don't listen to him, Uta, he's crazy.) So yeah, Utahime is something of an unreliable narrator in a way in "Playing Favorites" because there were definitely moments where she was far more willing than she wanted to admit later on. (Still not cool, Gojo! But hot.)

"Limitations" is always going to have a special place in my heart as well. It's not just my baby. It's OUR baby. We really grew Kazuya together for real. I'm incredibly grateful for everyone who went on that journey with me, and I am so ready to write more. I need Gojo with Utahime and their two kids more than ever! Honestly, I think it'd be fun to write a small series of when Kazuya first develops his cursed techniques... showing Utahime's struggles while pregnant with Nami and then Gojo taking on a more closer parental role than before when Kazuya lives in Tokyo with him. It would be fun to explore that side of Gojo! Not a big sequel but something.

That's hard to say because I've had at least one person consistently stalking and harassing me for three - four years. I've never really taken any of the critique to heart because I write for fun, so it's not meant to be serious and any comms I've taken, the people they were written for loved them so that's all that mattered to me.

I have, however, received a lot of hateful remarks in regards to me being a "bad mother" (because mothers obviously should not have hobbies or, uh, jobs or even sleep?) and even threats against my child, which is definitely NOT OKAY. I've deleted most comments that bring up my child or insults in that regard, but yeah, that's insane to bring up over a fanfic.

Oh this is SO delicious. The childhood friends addition makes it even better! Gojo can be horrified all he wants to see Utahime in this position, but he was looking for something. Did he know it was her when he paid for her the first time or was he shocked to see her walk into the hotel room? I can't decide which I like more. It's a little more shameful on Gojo's end if he knew it was her, so maybe it's something he keeps from her at first, so her pride isn't totally ruined. Him promising to help her and buy her out, but she feels guilty and like she'll just owe Gojo instead of Geto, even though he insists it won't be like that. But since Geto is refusing to budge, Gojo knows she's still taking other clients, which begins to drive him a little jealous, but he's really trying to really hard to be good for her. Utahime doesn't trust men though so it's a hard fight, especially with Geto refusing to let go of her. She owes him... more than Gojo can offer since it's not money he's wanting.

I do like to think that Gojo is anxious that she and Nanami had a thing together - which, imo, considering their close positions, wouldn't be that illogical. He was one of the very few sorcerers she trusted and treated her with respect, and they worked under some insane distress. Plus, he did his best to protect her. So it wouldn't be far off to think that she and Nanami, especially if they had a drink together, shared an intimate night or two. After all, it sometimes felt like they might not make it the next day, so that stress is bound to bring people together. I know Gojo is silently DYING over that. He had sex with other people, including Geto. Why should he expect Utahime to remain "pure/untainted" like she was waiting for him to take her? 🤭
