Do you have a favorite type of guro? If that makes sense? Like a preference for specific body parts that get damaged or a preference for visuals? Bad at explaining but basically like would you like an art piece that shows dismemberment over stabbing. Or one that has bones visible over one that doesn't? Idk cause some guro artists I follow seem to have favorite specific things to draw like the head being not attached or just guts on the floor everywhere or eyeballs being taken out. Others like to focus on skeletons or just weaponry. Theres also a medical subgenre of guro and i fw with that heavy
OOOOH i've never thought it too heavily actually.. i generally consume most eroguro art i'd say. if it involves my faves getting hurt then i fw it. i definitely like medical/clinical guro, i think i've also shown preference towards disembowelment/dismemberment too in my own writing.. especially involving cannibalism or eroticism in the grotesque (hence, the definition of eroguro). i don't discriminate if it involves shu or mika though :3 i will say i do not enjoy any torture with nails and stuff though, even reading it or thinking about it too long makes me unusually squeamish
