Oh no this means I have to actually write about my ocs...

Okay so! This Rick is a biologist - he focuses on exploring other planets and discovering lifeforms (98% of the time so he can synthesize new drugs/toxins/whatever makes him $$$) Part of his "scientific method" often involves getting very up-close and personal with the creatures he runs into - usually that ends with him getting tentacles or vines or goo or whatever else stuffed into any available hole (and sometimes they'll even make new ones!) It's part of the benefits package.

Maybe one day I'll give him a set universe designation but for now I just call him "researcher Rick."

Rubidus started out as his "assistant" - he met them while he was on their planet to make some neurotoxin sales to a particularly well-off crime family.

Rube's species has bodily fluids that cause mild-to-severe hallucinations in humans (and other mammalians) -- Rick thought they were cute (and had nice tits lol) and took an interest in them because he'd never actually fucked one of them before. Turns out it's a really fun high and they're not too annoying to be around - they even seemed genuinely interested in his work.

He planned on hitting it and quitting it, but one thing led to another and now they live on his abandoned-space-station-turned-research-lab.

Anyway they work as his 'assistant' which basically involves following him around on various treks across alien planets and recording whatever he tells them to record. They take lots of important notes while he gets fucked, or while he has a new and exciting trip, and more often than not end up directing the med drones to drag his battered body back to their shuttle for repairs.

In their free time they have an on-station greenhouse where they practice regular botany that's hobby based and not profit-driven. Rick thinks it's dumb (and cute.)

Rick is really slow to admit that he actually has real feelings for it, but eventually he does end up giving up the tsundere act and admitting he cares about them.
