what has been your favorite thing to write about lately (if you've been writing)...
okay this is actually a funny ask to get rn bc ive been absolutely pulling my hair out over my current wip for a fest gfjdklsgn but ive been trying to think of what wip i'll wanna work on once i finally finish this wretched fic (LOL) and i've been feeling like i want to try more plot!! i really enjoyed the angst in my last one although idk if im up for a full on argument scene yet. i have a college mahae im throwing around, as well as a canon comp markrenhyuck and a kind of insane mark x 95z bitching initiation onegndfjksgn but. idk ill probably poll the tl or smth in a few weeks! thank you so much for asking!!

please, call me leemeowrk. username was my father 😪 IM SO GLAD U LIKE THE CAT the cat reminds me of renjun actually and mark a little too in one specific pic ill post. im thrilled to be associated w it it's so cute!! a lot of my fave animals are ungulates! i love things with hooves. horses, javelinas, tapirs, golden takins, etc. also a huge fan of cats and little things like kangaroo mice and elephant shrews, as well as creatures that have bad reputations and need fans, like stinkbugs and ants and silverfish!

AAHHHH do you listen to anything while you write at all... i listen to old sims 2 soundtracks... i have a friend who CANNOT have any kind of distractions around her when she writes so im curiousss
OLD SIMS 2 SOUNDTRACKS WAIT THATS GENIUS! that soundtrack is soooo good! tbh i'm usually more like your friend! music is distracting to me especially with lyrics, but even without lyrics sometimes i feel like the mood of the music is so influential that it can be hard for me to get an accurate sense of the mood of what i've written? if that makes sense? i do have a particular song that i've like. pavlov'ed myself into locking in when i hear it but it's more effective for things like research papers than creative writing bc of the mood thing. when writing creatively my sentences have their own rhythm in my head that they need to follow and it's hard for me to hear that when there's music. oh but the song is from the witcher 3 soundtrack LOL it's called The Nightengale and it's my adderall substitute

AHHH I SDHOULDVE rewritten my question abt pet peeves because youre so right!!!!! i guess venting it in a private acc is fine compared to talking about it in public MY BAD!!!!! <3 lets talk about GOOD things in different characterizations then! i like it so much when people get his voice right. and when they write him in different dynamics with members in a way that makes it seem real..... i love him being whipped for his members.......... AND more specifically. markmin i think is so interesting to write
Omg no youre fine!! dont worry!! i love all your points here! my dear beloved friend mae has been putting me on to markmin and im really seeing the vision. if u like markmin (and u havent already) u should definitely read dykehyuck's stuff!! they're a genius and the ultimate markminner. also jess worn_out_spine just gifted them a markmin that made my brain melt out of my ears.
speaking of my brain, it's on like 2% rn cause it's late for me but getting back to characterization appreciation, for donghyuck i really love when people write in his intelligence and how attuned he is to the mood of the group. donghyuck being the behind-the-scenes (and maybe even overlooked) caretaker and mood-maker!

favorite dream song is easy: 1, 2, 3 hands down. no competition i love her BADDD. favorite 127 song is a little harder...if u ignore the title tracks and it's just b-sides it might actually be my van? i really really like that song. they don't have anything else quite like it. it's got such a suspenseful almost stressful vibe and it's an EXPERIENCE to drive at night to. i just love it. like doldrums kinda. or dissociation. so good i cant believe they bottled that in a song.

HOMEWRECKER ANON IM CTFU. hiiii beloved! i hesitate listing pet peeves publicly bc id hate to make anyone feel self-conscious about their writing if they felt that it could apply to them. i do have my own perspective and opinions on mark as a character ofc that don't align with everyone's, but i will also say that i'm someone who can overlook things i'd personally consider mischaracterization for the sake of a good storyline. i guess one thing i can think of is that i really enjoy fics that portray mark's perseverance and sincerity, and i find stories that explore how fatigue or guilt or rejection could affect him really compelling!
