I really tend to stray towards my fav colors when coming up w palettes(purples, pinks, reds used together are my faves), keeping in mind what colors compliment each other on the wheel, as well as trying not to be too afraid of saturation and using duller tones to help accentuate it! I really like doing that with complete black and dark grays especially! It's also a lot of playing around with post editing! Play with overlays, tone curve, and levels to get what you're looking for and you might even discover something better than what you og had in mind!🥰
