I don’t know really, I just wanted to make inkling and salmon characters that were friends? I didn’t have this big moment where it all came together, at the time I was really bad at making ocs I cared about and stuck with. I just thought “I want to make a salmon oc named Cornbread who is boring” and then later “I want him to have a cool friend named Macaroni”. I was afraid of pairing them up romantically at first, because I was still new to Splatoon. But it was always in my mind since I made them, I’m glad with how they turned out!

I’m afraid I can’t make it brief, there’s too much to talk about. The best I can simple it down to is, Mac used to live with salmonids as her family, she moved the Splatsville for some time but is having doubts about staying there. She’s very protective of anyone finding out about them, while her friends are worried about her behavior because she’s not taking care of herself. Verdant goes to make sure she’s not being exploited in any way, and understands how she doesn’t want to open up yet. Meanwhile, back at the salmonid settlement, CB who is Macs friend, is not doing as well as he tells her since her absence.

Unfortunately, no. I’ll talk about it a lot on my account though, so if you search around with the keyword “Mac” or any other characters name, you’ll find something eventually. Sorry it’s inconvenient 🙇

I usually take 5 or more hours, with minimal breaks if I even remember to have one. My process is simple, sketch, lineart, flats, shading, and final touches. I like to merge everything into one layer to do the final editing.

No, not currently.

I guess losing a leg is the least damage done to me. I don’t know what I’d do if I lost my arm and I couldn’t draw anymore, but I can live without a leg.

Sketch a lot in cheap notebooks and DON’T THROW THEM AWAY!! Being able to look back gives you a good idea of your skill level and what to pursue in studies (not that I do any studies)

2D… my style, and having the hands drawn the right way. 3D… posing I guess. I’m mostly thinking about what I’m not confident in 😅

Clip studio paint, I don’t have a proper drawing pad or anything, I use a laptop with a touch screen! I’m thinking of getting a real one though

I really like the bows, I don’t play many weapons as it takes awhile for me to branch out of my comfort zone
