Rejection email says 290+ applications received, is that total apps or just writer apps? Interest check showed writers as the smallest percentage which means slim chances (8 writers to 25 artists)...there also aren't any guest writers compared to the large amount of guest artists, so it's like this zine and the other Link Click zine were made with artists in mind while writers are a sidethought. It's disappointing to be rejected by both zines because there's of the higher chances for artists to be in both.
Hello. Both our writer and artist applications were highly competitive this year! We received 44 writer applications in total. The reason a lot of printed zines intake less writers is due to page limit restrictions as one writer usually takes up 6-8 pages with one fic.

Hello, regarding pieces created for the zine itself, will you be allowing more "speculative / theorizing" works - i.e. they adhere to the canon we've seen in s1/s2, but may be disproven in the future? Fics about things like how their powers work or their backstories or such

Hello! Genuine question here. I wanted to apply to this zine, but I just noticed most of the mod team is the same as the Shiguang Zine. Given that I just got rejected for the Shiguang Zine, will there be a problem if I apply to this zine? Should I change the portfolio and samples, or will I just be rejected immediately since I was rejected for the other zine? Thanks in advance for your response!
