well foundationally we have a rule that if one of us likes something, the other always tries it out to see if we can like it too (shows, music, games, etc.) the short answer is I told him they had a song that sounded like an anime opening and then he became run to you defender 2000. I watched a lot of seventeen content during lockdown and we were both stuck at home so we pretty much watched all of it together. So we essentially got into seventeen at the exact same time. Plus he’s always liked pop music and boy bands, like he liked one direction before I even met him and then we went to concerts together for them too. So yeah, he was primed for it.
