DUDE i want to thank you from the bottom of my wretched heart for publishing your brain worms (i affectionately dub mine: thought demons) because i'm now inspired to start putting my own ideas into blurb-style docs like yours while drowning out the screams of the perfectionist in me to flesh everything out properly LMAO
but i also wanted to come in here to indulge further in your brilliant as hell art student gumi x werewolf suku idea bc the thought of megumi moping about is so fucking hilarious, BUT HAVE YOU NOT THOUGHT OF GUMI BEING A VAMPIRE IN THIS? bc that's the thought that came to mind when i picture him moping about, he acts like a complete vampire: his ceiling lights are never on and he'd only light up candles (and he usually uses scented ones but he's dead inside after the rejection so he uses the plain ones that he swore he'd never use), his curtains are always drawn, he doesn't sleep in his bed anymore bc it's too comfy so he sleeps UNDER his bed on the hardwood floor so when he wakes up he can focus on his physical pain rather than mental, he only comes out of the room dressed in all black like someone died and his diet consists of only black coffee (and this would be normal but he drinks it 6 times a day unlike his usual one so this is how you know he's rlly dead inside) and he'd only eat whatever yuuji feeds him
i had an idea for half vampire half human fushisuku once and it'd be super funny if this applied to this verse's megumi LMAO like imagine if the immune system failure on megumi was just the vampire side of him taking over bc everything that made him human was too heartbroken to function properly
anywho, i'm biting through all your brainworms and wanna reiterate that i'm so damn happy about reading them bc the fushisuku drought is very real and this feels like a lake in the desert, thank you so much for sharing them o/
OMG BEFORE YOU EVEN GOT TO THE HALF-VAMPIRE HALF-HUMAN THING I was immediately picturing Megumi as not a full vampire which would just add insult to injury for Sukuna’s prejudice he’s like “Mated to not only a HUMAN but also a VAMPIRE?? For shame.” I also love the idea of werewolf blood being highly coveted by vampires which would add to the lore of werewolves hating vampires and werewolf blood being notoriously difficult for vampires to procure because werewolves are their natural enemy. Also I’m dying over Megumi’s vampire side coming out full force during heartbreak… And I imagine he kinda has dietary restrictions as a human but if he drinks ONLY blood he can go weeks without eating so now more than ever he’s craving blood. And imagine ‘cause Yuji’s his roommate OMG and Yuji’s a werewolf and Yuji really likes him Megumi’s now lowkey dosing on werewolf blood I feel like that would add a WEIRD dimension to Megumi’s grieving behavior that isn’t at all what we were initially thinking. I think Yuji’s blood would give him a lot of energy??? And make him really FOCUSED. Like maybe he throws himself completely into academics and work but it’s complicated because he can only go outside at night now or something… Imagine Megumi’s dietary restriction is that he’s allergic to garlic and is anemic (needs lots of iron i.e. eats a lot of meat if he’s eating human food) LMAOOO
THE DROUGHT IS SO REAL highly recommend throwing ideas down. I use obsidian which, like… publishing online isn’t cheap it’s like a Netflix subscription each month but also publishing on Obsidian is more entertaining to me than a Netflix subscription PFFF SO IT’S WORTH IT.
