Well, they have a history with it, sadly. For example with ouran high school host club, where they invented their own (sort of) conclusion to the anime which didn't happen in the manga, then with Noragami, adding a whole (and complete unnecessary) arc that wasn't even in the manga, fullmetal alchemist (2003), which is great in itself but not a faithful adaptation, etc etc :') bad fans complain about the adaptation but honestly if we compare it to other adaptations bones has done,,, I think we got kinda lucky. Tho it's veeeeryyy far from perfect :/

It was in stormbringer when chuuya fell from the sky after corruption and dazai caught him! (It isn't explicitly specified that's the way in which he caught him but from how it's described it's most likely that)

Oh my god I'm so sorry I just saw this!! I've been so busy lately :'( but yes!! To me it feels like we're in a decisive stage in the series, and I loooove how it's been carefully building up for so long and every single thing that has lead up to this, the fact that it's not yet over, and how things and concepts from the novels like (stormbringer and beast) are being brought into play!!!. It just makes me so excited to see what's being cooked. Don't get me wrong I don't think BSD is perfect by any means and there's things that could definitely be done better but I can't bring myself to complain, I may be biased but I love it so much.
