this is an interesting question cause i currently only have two mnsng fics and one's in jsng's pov while the other's in mnho's hmmmmmmmmm

i feel like it depends on what i wanna write? like melt when touched was focused around jsng's bday so it made sense for it to be jsng-centric, and then with love thy roommate i thought it would make more sense and be more interesting for it to be told through the eyes of the person being provoked/irritated, and in my mind mnho's character suited that perspective more. but to be completely honest it sounds kinda stupid now that i'm saying it hsbfikfjhh i've never really thought about it until now

to save us both from me yapping any further i wouldn't say either either of them is particularly easier to write than the other, but almost all my unfinished wips are in jsng's pov - i guess because i just relate to him more as person? but when it comes to their dynamic in general i find it easy to look at it through both of their eyes, so i guess i've never really had to stop and think about it before

hmmmm this is kind of difficult to answer because a lot of the time it feels like inspiration strikes me out of nowhere!!! but if i dig a little deeper i guess some of my inspiration comes from fics that i’ve read recently; if i’m reading something and i really enjoy it, my mind starts to wander and i think things like ‘what if the characters had this dynamic instead?’ or ‘i wonder what this story would be like if it was in a uni setting,’ and then i just keep adding on more and more ideas until i have a whole plotline and world inside my head. it’s the same thing outside of my fanfiction too — the more i read, the more inspired i feel to write! i guess i just see people creating really cool things through their writing and i think ‘i wanna do that too! i CAN do that too!’

along with that i do also daydream a lot!! to the point where i feel like my mind will explode if i don’t write at least some of it down, so i just sort of let my imagination run wild and it comes up with all these different scenarios (which can come from stuff i’ve read, watched, lived through), and sometimes the ideas just live forever in my head, but other times, if i think they’re good and plausible enough, then i open up a google docs and flesh them out fully until Boom! a story :)

and i decide on whether the fics are multi-chaptered or not early on because, of course, some ideas are more complex than others so i’ll say ‘this would make a cute oneshot’ or ‘yeah this’ll probably have to be a longer fic’
