In the meantime I'll give u a hc: a!akito (unknowingly) scented o!toya one time, but bc they're attached to the hip and their scents often mixed, they didn't realize anything was wrong until someone told them about it. Apparently, earlier that day, some random alpha made advances towards toya in front of akito, who growled at the alpha and then he reflexively rubbed his wrist to toya's neck, unknowingly rubbed their scent glands together and the rest is history. It will take a while for them to actually court tho.
