maybe im missing smth here? bcs i dont see how having an attraction = predatory. i dont see supporting idols' dreams in an online sfw space as predatory. i dont see how being a older kpop stan = predatory.

i do see going to fanmeets and asking for requests of ageplay scenarios as predatory. i do see talking about how 'child-like' an idol (minor or otherwise) is in an nsfw space as a red flag (personal preference and moral beliefs). i do see approaching idols in any way that involves kinks and anything relating to it as worthy of security and scrutiny.

i dont care if this thought process somehow makes me look bad bcs im not here to look good. im just here questioning why morals have to be so black and white when humans are so nuanced in nature.

and about that one twt acc- i read their tweets. the one tweet that blew up and had more qrts than the rest is about how he looks mature for his age. fair.

im choosing to give this one twt acc the benefit of the doubt because they showed no other displays of predatory behaviours elsewhere. fans are focusing on that one detail and using it as a gotcha moment. the acc mentions nothing sexual in their other tweets and especially nothing even close to it in relation to gunwook. if youve seen in from other gunwook accs, report /them/. this twt acc was alr showing how insecure they were of stanning gunwook exactly bcs they knew fans would generalise their interest as pedophilic. this twt acc has already shown how they knew what pedophilic behaviours were and how they were actively trying to avoid it to safely support gunwook. if you see that as a red flag, thats fine. i see a fan whos trying to dedicate time and effort into an idol they like as best as they can. mentioning how his looks do not match his age is worrying, i can see that. but a simple warning about it wouldve sufficed. there was no need for a hate train on this one acc for that. there are sasaengs and antis out there who are more deserving of it.

if you still dont like me after this, thats fine. we just have different moral thresholds and thats not smth id hate you about. idk if ive ever mentioned this before but i am new to the fandom so i wasnt here when gunwook was still a minor, idk how the state of the fandom was then and what was done to protect him. i admire your commitment to keep yujin safe and i do agree him and gunwook have higher chances to be victims of ephebophilia. i just dont agree with lumping all this fear on one acc who admitted to be an older fan, especially when they displayed no other sign of predatory behaviour.
