What are your favorite tropes to read and write? Is there a difference between what you like to read and what you like to write?
mmh that's a very good question because i read on pairings i am obsessed with i can read a lot of stuff without preferences and like if in my mind some ships fit more some trope i'll look for those even if they're not "my favs"
if i had to chose i'll say my favs trope are everything college/university and i have a thing for friends to lovers.. (i used to be a big enemies to lovers fan but not anymore), i adore a good soulmate au think it never gets old and everything found family. I enjoy friendships and bounds that go farther than just the romantic relationship, but once again i'd read anything except pure angst on my favorite ship
if i read on animé fandom i love canon compliant but not much in kpop
i think it is different when i write because i enjoy writing fantasy and world building stuff but tbh i will not read much of it otherwise... but those stuff (except for a blooming spell) are fics i haven't published. If you check my ao3 i think you'll find fics that i'd have read (hogwarts au i love reading/writing, strangers to lovers and falling in love, getting together fics), i don't think i do much psychology/character study, but nostalgia is a theme very intense in my writing and i don't really read on it tbh because i don't want to be too sad when i read
thank you for all your very cool questions:)
