aaaa thank you !! I don’t see anyone having a dedicated chao other than Akira but I’d say they dabble in chao gardening to the extent of say— sonic chronicles styled gardening,,, Haru definitely likes to garden in the chao garden!

ngl i had the idea for sonic au like. Two years ago like as soon as I got into p5 lmaooo but drawing out and coloring all of the PT gave me anxiety so I’ve made multiple attempts starting and restarting w them and their designs might be inconsistent for a while ,,,

not quite !! He is /a/ rookie, but Buddy remains the uh. The buddy.
the PT are mostly just trying to stay undercover and not alert anyone to the existence of the remaining phantom ruby shards

they are!! But they’re also phantom thieves on the side ,, cleaning up leftover phantom ruby things,,, cleaning up G.U.N. corruption,, generally just doing what the main resistance/diamond cutters haven’t gotten around to!
I think they all just sort of come to the resistance some way or another, trying to cope with the post-war world and trying to find a way to make things better.,,, except Akira who was actively just conscripted.

did anything arise from akechi being experimented on the sonic au? like. does he have any of shadow's (or sonic's) abilities? or was it not a success at all and simply produced a resentful and traumatized hedgehog. speaking of, what are akechi's motivations and actions in this AU, and are they any different from persona canon's? Like for example, did he kill people
something did arise but he’s nowhere near as powerful as shadow or as fast as sonic. For all intents and purposes, he was kind of considered a dud after years of testing and training him. They keep inhibitor rings on him to keep him normal so that the public is unaware of the project. He works for G.U.N. out of basic necessity and to figure out his origins so he can eventually get revenge.
Akechi is of course resentful, feeling like he went through all of the testing and isolation in childhood for nothing. But… since this is a sonic au, he doesn’t kill anyone. Just kind of. Goes off with the phantom ruby power until he’s stopped before he /can/ kill anyone.
His base powerset without the rings are the same as shadow’s but weaker (teleportation, blast, spear).

To be honest, I would absolutely love to get some details on Akechi and Akira interactions with each other in this crossover AU. I would absolutely love to draw fanart between the two if I'm allowed. ^^

Their relationship is largely the same as regular canon . Here, they don’t get closer until after the main plot sonic forces, when the resistance is trying to clean things up. ((Forgot abt the metal virus arc until literally just now. Much to think abt later…))
There’s probably a whole thing of them trying to clean up corruption in G.U.N., the PT finding information on Akechi’s project background, a Shido takedown, and then. Maruki stuff as a fallout of keeping the phantom rubies around.

Is there any conflict between Akechi and Akira? Perhaps some angst potential that could lead off to a good or bad ending for the other.
I think the main conflict between them would largely come down to Akira having to unlearn Sonic’s whole “everyone deserves a second chance” thing because there are genuinely people who. Don’t. ((those people being Shido))
But also Akechi genuinely just wants the world to burn and is hellbent on using the phantom ruby to do it. So he has to unlearn the whole “desire to get revenge and does not care who gets in the way” thing.
