In all seriousness it takes a while. I figured out I was an introject because I felt such a strong connection to my source! But also being told by others in my system that I had integrated with other alters who had sources, we just kind of? Know? I dunno.

some of my parts didn't realize they were introjects until some time after they formed, its not always easy to realize seeing as it's possible to form with few source memories. if you think you could be a introject and you have any guesses on who you're introjected of, you could try to see if you have any strong feelings to your source?
