thinking abt wrio with self worth issues. wrio thinks of himself as undeserving of neuvis love no matter how many times neuvillette reassures him. neuvi soon realizes that words are futile, and that none of them would soothe his beloved’s aching heart. during a dark night in which the thoughts haunted him, neuvillette held him close and placed his own hand on wrios chest, right over his heart. he then used his hydro energy to soothe his mangled heart. that anguish would settle down, as well as those hurtful thoughts. neuvi would whisper sweet nothings and kiss him through it. his own authority allowed him to heal and alleviate the deepest wounds. even though he knew his beloved’s pain would only leave momentarily, neuvillette always hoped for the best. he prayed to no god, for he himself had enough power to take action, and knew he would succeed. wriothesley slowly got better, his thoughts wouldn’t chase him as often, and could finally sleep at night. he could even pronounce those three words back without guilt trickling in.
