:< i too am easily distracted. i try to close out of stuff i know will distract me, fwiw, and i have specific places in my home that are dedicated writing places, eg my desk and a specific section of my couch. i find that by assigning those spaces to writing time, when i sit down i'm already in the right headspace. but honestly a large part of focus is stretching that muscle and cultivating the self-control to look away from the timeline

which, in these times, is admittedly extremely hard :<
