when she has free time, she likes to read! growing up all she really had were medical textbooks, but now she reads a lot of comics or things with a lot of colorful pictures. in a modern au i think shed really like superhero comics actually (looks at you)

short answer: no. long answer: when i first designed laurel she was a demon, plain and simple, until after a while her lore better suited something similar to changeling myth, which then carried on to her being a homunculus. she wasn’t a “real child.” not born like one, hardly acts like one, etc. think of the horns as more vestigial traits because logically, she doesn’t really have them, so they’re more symbolic I suppose. I invite you to make up your own reason if you’d like as well.

I REALLY LOVED IT ALL. i kept getting distracted looking up all the characters as they came because i wanted to compare their animanga design. it was amazing how they translated these characters into live action, and the actors did a really great job making such an outlandish premise come across so authentically. i had not a clue about one piece aside from main characters up to this and it surprised me how much i enjoyed the plotline. im excited to keep watching. i rewatched the whole thing with my sister and she’s extremely critical of shows that aren’t romcoms but she ended up enjoying it a lot too.
