hello this is trans quincy anon and lmfaoo??? that dude was so WEIRD...
"Quincy is the last person to be transgender in any form" made me laugh so hard. why couldn't he be!!! they kept saying that our rep needs to come to us for a reason, like our existence needs to make narrative sense to be approved. we deserve to exist in art without having to justify ourselves.
quincy's fat and trans and hairy and he just like me fr!!! you should find joy in seeing yourself in the characters you love!!! why are you putting down people that want to love your traits!!! your quincy art made me feel so much joy about the way my body looks because i saw someone shaped like me being desired. i hope that love reaches you more than their weird spite, mar. trans anon man out :)

This is what breaks my heart the most as well. Like, thing is, I am wholly aware of my self-indulgent horny art is rather niche and i know majority of ppl in nukani fandom overall either give zero fucks about what I do here or think that I'm making the character look "ugly" or whatever. I'm aware of all that but I do not care because I don't post my art for them. And ESPECIALLY not for cis people lol. I draw it for myself and post it for 10 or so other sickos who like what I do. I won't even call my character portrayals groundbreaking or overtly horny either??? I'm just doing my own lil thing here and am happy to share w others who would enjoy whatever queer fuckery I cook up on my drawing tablet.
But... it does make my heart ache when trans ppl see their bodies in fanart and feel like it isn't justified or the characters should look only their "canon" way bcs it is what i used to think as well. I used to be SO ashamed in what I find attractive or that I need to follow certain conventions to make "clickable" fanart?? While in reality there is literally no rules. Who cares about the canon?These are effin pixels. Do whatever you want! Treat them like Barbies!! Draw the charas in any way you want! Run free, have fun!!! This is what I'm trying to tell myself and do because I like having fun and I know there are ppl out there who struggled w these things as well. But we all deserve to be self-indulgent! Be cringe, draw charas as yourself, draw charas kissing u!!! There is no rules when it comes to actually harmless fun lol
