Okay so after Rusted Nation I was so happy to see that Rei indeed has soft spot not only for GaruKaru, but for Blade in a way too. They have a wonderful potential as well bcs Rei with his chronic illness and self-destructive patterns needs someone like Blade in his life. Blade thrives in service and he loves making his friends feel good so Rei getting aggressively loved against his will? Exquisite. Delicious. The Hurt/comfort of their duo can be sooooo tasty.

Just today I was binging almost all Zere's works and their BladeRei fic is Exactly what I imagine for them as well: Rei being defenseless against Blade's affection and letting himself lower his guard around him because Blade is... Blade. He is silly, annoying but Rei simply can't say no to his enthusiasm and it's just REALLY good
