first thing I noticed was that you changed the chapter count from 12 to 10 I almost cried thinking you cut off the ending or smth LMAO thanks for mentioning it at the end of the new update I was about to be so sad. and the new chapter was so bittersweet omgggg these two are such hard heads if they would just talk lamoaoao but chenle actually tried doing something my poor boy, and jisung had to be the chicken this time 🤦 let my boys be happy author 😢 (I'm loving it it hurts so deliciously)

I COULD NEVER CUT ANYTHING OUT dwdw the thing is i split my notes into 4 parts as i estimated BUTTTT jisung's birthday was actually supposed to be in the next chapter! sometimes i don't estimate right, this chapter was supposed to end with chenle going to talk to yangyang but i modify the amount i want to elaborate on the fly as well (the ahem breakup was also supposed to be in the next chapter). there are quite a few major events left in this and i couldn't figure out where to split the two because the only way to split this is on a cliffhanger for the next chapter and i didn't want to do that, i just thought i would do it all at once. THEY WILL BE HAPPY I PROMISE UUUU i really hope you like how this wraps up, thank you for reading so farrrrr <3333

this chapter was actually more painful to read than the previous one with all of jian's bs... I know this is slow burn but the way chenle KEEPS talking about them dating other people, and even encouraging jisung to do it when he's clearly uncomfortable, is pissing me AWFFF like shut ur emotionally constipated ass up dude 🗿 if you end this fic with them not romantically involved I might do drastic measures (cry my eyes out) lmao

well in their defense it's just something they're figuring out! their relationship is unfortunately not set up traditionally at all and you know... it's taking a while to know which choices to make and how to carve out a dynamic that emotionally and physically and economically works out. they will get it together, i promise you, there is no universe where i don't put chenji together. chenle just has a few things to sort out! emotions are hard. he's doing his best.
