the part about gw always going along with mtw's ideas reminded me that i often think that mtw seems to really appreciate gw taking his ideas seriously, because i feel like sometimes he says things in a serious way but, because of his usual personality, people tend to just laugh it off thinking it's a joke and he just wonders why people are laughing (which i really relate to), so i think it's sweet that he has someone to that will go along.
about the dates, i just KNOW that gw was enjoying soooo much teasing mtw and seeing him sulk over a 1:1 date!!!
and you're so right, i hadn't noticed how gw keeps orbiting around mtw when he's a bit quieter but i watched the japan fancon behind and i see what you mean! (maybe not so much the communicating for him, at least in that specific video, but the trailing after, yes). it also made me think about how i feel like gw is a worrier/nervous -i would even say anxious but i don't want to diagnose- and mtw helps him with that? but i'm not going off of any visual evidence, it's just a vibe i get, especially because they talk often about taking care of each other, but i feel like people only see gw taking care of mtw since it's the most obvious to the naked eye (like explaining him things like games, helping with his korean, etc.) but i do feel like it's reciprocated, so i'm curious to see if you agree or what you think about it!
i also hadn't noticed that it's gw who asks him if he's okay during ssireum 🥺, but i think their dynamic in that sense is very interesting because, since mtw is competitive, gw doesn't just let him win -i feel like that would make mtw feel worse and undermined in a way- but he makes no fuss over winning either and he also very much appreciates mtw's physical abilities too.

I would 10000% agree with you on that, and I think sometimes Mtw puts himself down because of it! The way he worded that one answer about how Gw always goes along with his 'stupid' jokes, like... I think he puts down his own intelligence sometimes (because imo, Mtw is a very intelligent person), because sometimes his creativity can come off a bit bizarre. But I love that Gw takes his ideas very seriously and does what he can to make them happen.
The dates are soooo <3 oh I think they love the dates just as much, I think it's why they started to share them with us (well at least the ones we know about... there may be more that we have no idea happened), because they wanted to share the fact they are close with us (dare I say a tad possessive) and enjoyed us mattparkz fans freaking out about them LOL
Totally! The trailing after thing is the main thing! The communicating for him is mainly an assumption on my part, and only more data/information will prove or disprove my theory. I can just see Mtw potentially doing stuff in Gw's stead when he's too tired, but again I am being presumptuous. And yes I would agree Gw is an anxious person, he tries very hard not to let it show and uses faux confidence in order to try and get people off his scent, but some of his actions and things he's said have hinted at his anxiousness - his desire to please others, his silence when he is struggling, just today in his voice live he talked about how for this comeback he was "personally physically and emotionally exhausted". He tries to always show a brave face but I think he does get weary. He's also usually the one reading the comments in group lives and I think he likes to be aware of everything going on at all times. That in combination with the way when tired he will silently trail after Mtw (overstimulated) versus when energised he will treat Mtw as his personal fidget toy (understimulated) further suggests some type of neurodiversity/anxiety.
To me, the ways Mtw helps Gw are really obviously but I guess as an autistic person myself I just see stuff that some people wouldn't notice. They are very good as acting as a team and backing one another up when the other isn't feeling as confident or secure. They balance each other out and make sure the other gets their fair share/turn at something. I think what they have is super balanced and Mtw also gives Gw praise when he's silently begging for it but doesn't want to say it out loud LOL they just read each other incredibly well.
Yes! Gw did ask Mtw if he was okay, but indeed does not underestimate Mtw's ability physically and still gives it his all. Gw can't help but check to make sure because the size difference between the two is quite remarkable, but I think Gw knows it would be an insult to Mtw if he went 'easy' on him so to speak. They see each other as equals and treat each other as such.
