It's a very important hug in the encyclopedia of gmg hugs, I agree anon and it holds a special place in my heart too. I think it was definitely a hug we hadn't seen before from them! And honestly? Maybe one we shouldn't have been allowed to see because it did feel very intimate to me.

Geon was definitely comforting Maet in this instance, and it was very cute to see how Geon knew what was up and then extended his arms out in offering but without pushing, he waited to see if Maet wanted to hug him and he could've rejected the hug if he wanted - would've been valid for it too bc they're all tired and sweaty. But he accepted the hug in a way that he leaned into it fully and they were fully embraced chest to chest. 🥹

And then it changed to another scene so we don't know if it lasted longer which it may have fkdljskldfjsdf Maet looked really tired so I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up just standing there for a bit. You could tell they both probably would've preferred if the camera wasnt there as well bc they both side eyed it so hard LOL anyways sorry I'm ranting and head-canoning, but yes I agree, it's a favourite hug of mine too <3
