I think my BSD hyperfixation has mostly ran it's course, but I do still have a couple BSD things that will be posted in the future. I wrote a piece for the yagyo zine (the dead dove skk one) and I am still planning on finishing black lies. I still enjoy talking about BSD and seeing the art, but I'm not actively reading or writing fics at this point (though I could probably be persuaded to join another zine in the future lol). It's a bit bittersweet for me because BSD was such a big part of my life for over 2 years, but if I'm being honest I had only ever intended to write a few fics on it so the fact that I've written checks notes 18!? is pretty wild to me. I'm still somewhat involved in the fandom because I made some really cool friends that I want to keep in contact with, and I still beta read BSD fics for a couple of them. With all that said, I highly recommend Trigun Stampede if you want to follow me into my new fandom <3 It's seinen like BSD and the characters are very fuckable (with lots of dead dove potential) hehe

Oh I like that song! Tbh I've always had a hard time identifying songs that I think characters would listen to, instead I usually just pick songs that I like that I think fit the characters lyric/vibe-wise, so in term of that it feels like more of a Dazai song for me.

If you had to choose what your favorite paragraph that you've ever written?
Oh man that is a tough one. I really liked the poems I wrote for "a symptom of being alive" as well as this opening part to the second scene:

That’s what Dazai used to tell himself.
Somewhere along the line he stopped feeding himself lies. Stopped counting the little white pills. Stopped fabricating reasons to pop a few more. Why impose arbitrary limitations when nothing matters? No Longer Human nullifies abilities, but Dazai can’t help but feel that it takes something from its host as well: that little spark of life that he’s never been able to find. Perhaps that’s why he’s never felt worthy of being human. Perhaps, if he takes enough of this medicine, he will cease to be a human, at long last; the thought is oddly comforting.
It’s been several days since his little night visit to headquarters, not that he is able to keep time straight. 10:00am, 4:00pm, 3:00am: it’s all the same to him. One singular blurr of existence, like a smudge on a lens. When the pills wear off, he swallows another handful or snorts another line. They make his body sing, make his mind empty, provide him with everything he’s ever wanted. He can’t think about the bad things like this. Can’t think about him. Can’t think about what he should have done or could have done. If only they lasted longer. He just needs to keep going until it’s permanent, this beautiful numbness.
I tend to have favorite parts to every fic I write though so it's hard to choose a favorite 🥺

Who do you think is better at eating pussy Dazai or Oda?
That is a tough question because I feel like Dazai would be good at it because he's really attentive to detail so he'd be able to come up with a technique that has his partner screaming but Oda is really gentle/attentive AND he has an ability that allows him to see a few seconds into the future sooo close call but I think Oda is taking this one.

Yeah for the purpose of this story I chose to do it like that - I put a note at the start letting ppl know. I decided to do it that way bc I wanted Dazai to call him Oda like he does in canon and it wouldn't really make sense for him to call him that if he used to also have that last name so I just flipped it. I hope it's not too annoying!! It bothered me a bit too but something felt off no matter which way I went about it 😅

After all that I ended up not bringing him 💀 I didn't think through how to transport him so i need to plan better for that and hopefully take him to a different con in the future lol I am kind of glad I didn't bring him to this one though as I was staying at a friend's house that wasn't that close to the convention center so there wasnt really the option to leave con during the day like you can when you're in a hotel nearby. The con was still a lot of fun though!! I saw lots of skk cosplays hehe
