too many tj stans "jo stans say ian wants jo to be with him because jo cooks, buys you flowers, takes you to the movies, takes you to see the stars" as if it's something simple and worthless. whatever a boyfriend does shows that he loves according to their logic or what increases the meaning of a relationship? doesn't knowing each other for 19 years increase the quality of their relationship? quality can't be compared to quantity
Exactly. Also yes! The things Jo does also indicates Ian liking him because of those things, why are they acting like Ian can't like someone back due to simple things. 17 years and tj couldn't even show Ian decent things but sure, apparently Ian can like someone who ties him down but not someone who shows him the simplicity of life.
