many many reasons ok here are the big ones
- super relatable! every time i reread baton pass i have to put my phone down and sigh during her argument with tetora. i relate to so many of her inner conflicts it’s a little embarrassing.
- really cute! cute in the way a cat is after it has a shower and it’s all soggy and gross but aww awwww
- her love of mascots! one of my favorite things ever is when people are passionate about something and midori loves her mascots. i want her to infodump to me
- her love for her friends. i think it’s sweet to see how much more she’s grown to love ryuseitai over the course of the series.

I ALSO AGREE WITH YOUR ANIMAL CROSSING POSTING BTW. NH felt like there was more to do but also more? Soulless? If that makes sense? I have over 500 hours on NL and probably only 200 on NH (please don't send me back to the asylum) so I think that really shows that even though there is SO much more to do that more features doesn't equal better. I think the biggest nerf was the multiplayer though I MISS THE ISLAND MINIGAMES SOD SOS SO SOOO BAD UEUEUEU PLEASE COME BACKKKK

Hello the Midori HC guy here with a Shinobu HC for their birthday. I think Mayoi made them a little room model for Peachy and Thunder to roam around in and its filled with tiny furniture and everything. Midori put some tiny mascot character figures in the room as well. It's full of love from their friends <3
