Waaaaaaaaaaittttttttt - I had never considered this kind of scenario for a sequel but I think you cracked the code. Maki taking her, middle of the night, almost home after exorcising a spirit. Exhausted and spent, already. Can't put up too much of a fight when Maki corners her, eyes pleading, but her strength severe pulling her into an alleyway. Can you imagine? It's not romantic, just like last time. And, yet... Maki being so close to her, filling her like this, strong arms making sure she doesn't go anywhere - maybe if she squints it's the closest thing a Zenin can get to soulmates.

Love the thought of Mai making some passive-aggressive comment during it about Nobara - doesn't Maki feel shame, she wonders? Silent when Maki fully admits they're not together anymore. How much of an ego boost would it be to hear it's because she was thinking of Mai during their last night together? The implication of it, even? Maki isn't forgiven but Mai lingers once all is said and done.

Maki asks if she can walk her home. Funny. Who's ever heard of a perpetrator wishing to escort a victim home?

Oh, wait, you're cooking. Hold on let's draft this out together - opening scene, nobamaki having sex, monotony in the rhythms of their escapade that Maki is only half paying attention to. Her mind drifting - no matter how hard she tries - to the encounter with Mai. That's finally getting her going. Nobara thinks she's doing something right so continues her dramatics. Maki imagining the warmth of Nobara's flesh as Mai's body underneath her, the way she looked at the bar, the way she /sounded/ despite trying to be quiet. She moans. Nobara stills. Maki finishes. The couch? Her new homestead. Kidding. Yuta's couch.

Nobara didn't even care that it was her sister's name she moaned. Morality or whatever. Just the fact it was another woman - the bitchiest one on Earth at that.

End scene. Anyway, hell yeah - Maki being in an arguably "okay" place within Jujutsu society but literally feeling like the biggest failure known to man is so my thing. Her own realization by this point that, yeah, a lot of her reasoning was for Mai. And some of it wasn't. But the selfishness of proving her family wrong coincides with Mai having a decent life, anyway. Everything connects back to her somehow. She can't even look in the mirror without seeing Mai looking back. And now she's not talking to her. She also hasn't responded to Maki's text, either. Maybe... she'll need to go to more desperate measures. Or, you know, persistent. Definitely not desperate. They need to... talk about what happened or something. Maki's pretty sure she's read that in a self-help book once. Not that she needs, though. Was the only thing around in a doctor's office.

Funnily enough, I had written a sequel for it that's currently in the depths of my Google drive as we speak. Now, do I think that WIP is a worthy sequel upon rereading? Not really lol. So I do technically have something but I'd likely wanna rewrite it - and rewriting it means I'm currently into JJK again which... tbh I haven't really gotten the spark for. I do think outta any of my Makimai fis tho (besides the multi-chapter one that... got abandoned RIP) it has the most potential. If I do end up writing it I'm probably wanting to focus on the cheating aspect more than I had initially alongside Maki being a complete lunatic who hasn't actually accomplished anything with her life due to Mai still being alive in this universe <3

Can you imagine? First of all, the way Mai would be groomed so easily LOL. I love her, and she's highly intelligent and the more emotionally capable of the twins, but throw in a motherly authority figure that sets off her mommy issues and she's sat. It's sad because, in a way, Makima's behavior wouldn't cause total alarm considering the clan Makimai grew up in. Under the context of Makima merely being another Jujutsu sorcerer, her quirks would be seen as... normal, relatively. And she's a fellow woman subjugated to the misogyny of their culture - perhaps this is her defense mechanism and means of self-preservation. Mai can admire the blending of traditional femininity into cuffed shirts and polished Oxfords worn better than any man in her clan has ever done. Polite and table manners yet casual observation of Mai's bruised wrists and limping gait. Talking about the weather, maybe. Crude, and yet Makima brings it up so easily maybe it was never that taboo of a subject to mention in the first place.

Maki... that would be interesting. She doesn't do well with authority figures and Makima's entire demeanor settles on playing the role of such - until, perhaps, Maki realizes this woman is just as much a dog as she is. Maki has the clan. Makima has... higher-ups, of some sort. No matter where in the food chain you land, there's always someone wanting to pull your leash. And Makima's gaze betrays nothing watching her train - the same polite smile watching Gojo fuck around with his Infinity as it is admiring Maki demolish a training dummy. Makima would find her Heavenly Restriction fascinating, not in the means of a scientific anomaly as Yuki would, more so... uniqueness. Maki, have you ever heard that twins in Jujutsu Society are considered to have one soul split into two bodies? You and Mai are truly the same person. Isn't that interesting?

You know, Maki, a soul split into two vessels means it'll never have the same maximum capacity as a soul inhabiting just one. What does this mean for your threshold? Mai, you know as well as I that sometimes sacrifice is a necessity for the greater good. And you love your sister, no?

Mai, someone I once knew would've loved your devotion being in the splatter of your skull and the creation of heavy steel. Personally, I find the sentiment tasteless.

Offical MakiYoru encounter... God, honestly, I think it occurred as naturally as breathing with the birth of their existence. I can't say anything, in particular, leading up to it other than the inherent balance they strike within each other as the closest in concept and blurred lines between what they represent. I do like the idea of it occurring the first time they possessed a human's flesh, though. New sensations and feelings typically abstract in their biological form that take on a more concrete form inside the mortal body. War, bewildered and somewhat disturbed to feel the warmth of the sun on their skin, the grass underneath their feet, how their sister's grazing touch raised goosebumps on this body. An indulgence of exploration, a teasing incessant - Control grew easily familiar with such form almost as if she's done this before. Maybe, maybe not - as her wandering hands drew over War's shifting muscles. Desire pooling in War's stomach. What is this feeling? Control merely laughs. She's watched humans in their natural environments to know what it means, entails. Coy, vague responses pushing War to the blood-soaked floor where remains and battle lay.

An odd feeling. But War has never felt so connected to their sister as they do when she straddles them like this, merges their bodies - as if puzzle pieces - together into a harmonious singularity. As well as a sword or shield feels in War's hands does Control melts against their flesh. They don't know how to explain it but it's almost... vulnerable. Meanwhile, Kigayoru starts off in something finally snapping. After a millennium of prodding from sister eldest, War indulges her. By now they're aware sex is the name of what they once did with Control, and sex is just as much a tool of power as it is a means of vulnerability. Never again. Sex with Famine is as much a battle with bow and arrow as it is her hips cracking underneath their grip to show who's the top dog between them. Of course, Famine allows every broken bone when the feeling of being so /filled/ overtakes what's hollow and void. It's awful, objectively. Pleasure isn't the focus here. Famine comes, anyway. War strangles her at some point and continues with the limp body, rolled eyes to slitting their wrist and blood drops staining her mouth afterward - Famine's return is just as orgasmic. They can do whatever they want to her and she craves more. This is love and patience and-- well, it's something. It's not the warmth of a familiar body in a shared bed once upon a time, or vulnerability forcing the possessed flesh's heart to beat against the ribcage, but it's... an act. Of love, of violence, of this or that. It'll do. Famine wins due to mediocrity. That's the best she's going to ever get.

Oh, Makima. You love your dog-husband-weapon in the same way someone enjoys throwing a ball for their mutt to bring back. Fun, if temporary. No true respect but since when has Quanxi ever had respect for herself, anyway? At least she's pretty to look at and doesn't say anything when you get so angry you're the perpetrator in her losing a valuable eye. But, it's okay. Quanxi can make up for her transgressions in the bedroom with missionary monotony and intense eye contact. Emphasis on the eye's singularity. No, you won't ever consider lowering yourself into giving head but it's practically the same thing when your dog is leashed and smothered between your thighs. She's the best you've had and /will/ have but you'll surely forget such when she's eventually discarded for your eventual focus.

Lemme break out of my second-perspective shtick to offer the dynamic of yaoified-yuri when it involves her and Yoru. Strangely... equal, all things considered. Even though, much like Makima, Yoru does make it quite clear Quanxi is her weapon and all that entails. But at the least, Yoru is a gentleman in shucking Quanxi's slacks and taking what her younger sister wouldn't. It's funny watching humans lose their composure, even if Quanxi is about as stoic as the statues humanity has crafted in Yoru's likeness millennia prior. Raising morale, really. A false resemblance to intimacy grunting and huffing above with the torn bodies of those around as set-dressing. Yoru isn't much of a fan of the fairer sex's form to wear but supposes Quanxi shows her the benefits the first time she bottoms without the involvement of anal. Huh. No wonder women don't require prostates.

Kiga... I think she sees something similar to herself in Quanxi. A void. Unfulfilled. Once whole and left in broken pieces. Her sisters didn't take good care of her, clearly. Kiga isn't sweet but she hides nothing from Quanxi spreading her thighs and asking the woman to devour her. She'll do the same back. Maybe one of them will achieve nirvana and take the other with them. Kidding. Kiga knows how the world works. Quanxi does, too. Oh, God... silently seething lol? Kiga's manipulation is interesting in the way it differs from Makima's in that I don't think she'd do anything so outwardly... bad. I love Kiga's contradictions in not caring to disguise herself from the general public and yet she so gracefully - even better than Makima! - manages to hide the fact she's a complete fucking monster. She's just a silly little guy! She's so quirky! She loves eating! Meanwhile, she's adjusting the playing board so all the moving pieces will eventually have to fill the spots she wants. She's not a total control freak, double-knotted and leashed type like Makima is, no, she'll make you believe that it was your own doing that eventually led you to your casket.

So with that in mind, I don't think Makiyoru would know of the subtle means she's driving them apart. The blunt drag of her tongue in relishing War while putting down Control, setting them in different boxes as the favorite and the disappointment, a long-con in putting herself down as the fool, the jester, so no suspicion arises while they gradually tear each other to pieces. And the worst part is that I think Famine - the most a devil can have, anyhow - has good intentions. She wants her family perfect, damnit! It's not her fault Control is faulty! It's not her fault she's the eldest and this responsibility falls onto her shoulders! That Death avoids the role she's supposed to play! Someone has to care! And if she must be hated to fulfill her obligations then so be it. Call her the unfortunate guardian. Anything for you, little sister... even if must end in heartache.

A threesome between all of them would go kinda hard with all this in mind, though LOL. The closest to feeling so /full,/ her two little sisters ravishing her in all their hatred but if she squints maybe it's the same as the morbid affection they hold for each other - not for her, of course.
