lemme be honest here, when I was first rewatching jjk and getting more into the fandom & satosugu, I went a lot through goge fanarts at the beginning before descovering gego and I went even on gogetwt, and I have to say that one of the first things that made me very uncomfortable(?) was with the forced and exaggerated femininization of Suguru, not to mention the fanarts that, from what I believe you already must know, also include this forced feminization. There are many artists in this bubble who do this, and there is a specific person who's famous on the jjk that follows most of them and even praises their (problematic) arts. Anyways, when I got tired I tried to look otherwise (top geto x bottom gojo) and it felt much better. Not only the arts, the fanfics, but also the people on gegotwt are much nicer!!
Sorry for the longass thing, but I just wanted to share my experience, since there are being many discussions on twt lately. :,)
i'm happy to hear that you're having a much better time on this side, anon! the great thing about gego is that you will find the way people ship them is very diverse, so no matter how you might like your specific gego flavor, there's plenty to choose from. also i've said this before but the gego spaces i now find myself in is filled with some of the kindest, inclusive, and not to mention incredibly talented people whom i've had the great pleasure of getting to know.
