For a time a friend and i were thinking about asking for a comission from you of said ship, i recall you saying not drawing them again ever and i wonder if that apply on comissions too? I'll miss it but I'm also happy to see you've branched out in to other interests, it's been awesome seeing your art develop over the years! We all outgrow our interests eventually so I hope no one is giving you a hard time about it
thanks anon! no one is really giving me a hard time or anything, people just always want new things to look at but don't always consider the years of work that has gone into my archived works. with how the internet is shaping out to be, more focus is put on "consumption" and while i agree i used to pump art out like a machine, i now feel more comfortable having my "public" art and my "hobby" art separated. i've realized that a smaller fandom circle out of the public eye is more my jazz. to me, my interests are kind of a sacred thing.
and you're right, i also think i needed to branch out because falling back into that style kind of held me back for a long time. but now i feel like i can draw a lot of fun things and put more focus on experimenting.

how do you learn to draw porn good without looking at irl porn.. i dont like it.....
you dont have to. when i had a more cartoony style i didn't feel the need to reference and i also wasn't as interested as i am now, it depends on what you're going for.
i'm also expanding on this to say that i actually didn't say you need to look at irl porn... to me this comes off more like a bean soup kind of situation. i know most people won't take this kind of advice at face value but i really do urge people to only pick up art if they want to have fun with it. the more tedious stuff like anatomy (of which there are lots of resources online) can be fun if you apply it to a ship you like, for example. you can also just look at others art you like and study that. i don't know what every person is hoping to get out of drawing so i can't give a concise answer. again, this is just all friendly advice and you can take it or leave it.
