I can't paint that well, unfortunately π Speaking about ideas, they just come to me. Sometimes I get inspired my movies & books, certain parts of them. Sometimes I get random ideas out if nowhere. I can't really tell π for example, Familiar Strangers idea came to me so suddenly, but I struggled writing the first chapters, thought I would just drop it, but I kept thinking about it and before I knew, I already had a thick plot flow in my head and then the rest happened π€ it's a funny thing, my inspiration. And most of the time I have a very vague idea. I start writing it and it grows into chapters. That's how it goes
