Continuing on the previous ask, what are some non computer specific things you use emacs for? I mean presumably you use it to modify things like configuration files and such, but have you ever used it to write things like school notes? I would write my chemistry notes with that weird latex + markdown dialect that's referred to under names like "mathtex". Solely using the formatting like ^{} _{} for writing molecules and such.

left school before getting into Emacs... back then we felt cool using nano hehe

we've tried to use it fo keeping track of stuff to do, but that keeps falling out of sync with reality. perhaps the most un computer usage is as a journal - for most of 2022 we wrote in one big append-only document every single day, and the poor Simple Mobile Tools notes app (this was before they sold out ofc) crapped out around June so we pulled the whole thing into an Org file and just scp that back home with a wrapper script that can launch with termux-widget on my phone.

... even in non computing we do the hard Linux way of everything :3
