i think some people put 18+ to indicate that they’re over 18 but might not want to share their age 😅

hiiii that makes sense, but i just want to clarify! when people see 18+ it’s hard to tell if you’re indicating your age or if your account is 18+. everyone should be 18+ on nsfw obviously, but having 18+ in your bio is commonly read as what you allow for your account specifically, so it would be nice for a second indicator because they are two seperate things and should be both in your bio for people to know! and this is all personal preference btw. i don’t care about your exact age i just need a better understanding that you are also an adult.

there have been issues where minors state that their account is only for 18+. or those on nsfw who are on the younger like 18-19 actually do allow for 17 yo’s to interact with them. and people have their own boundaries so they need to know.

but yeah my tweet was just out of frustration because i feel as though 18+ is not enough information.
