like I get this but also aren't you exposing yourself and other accounts that follow you or consistently interact with you to sfw witch hunts???
Like I know so many NSFW accounts have decided to just stop caring about the fact they are interacting with sfw accounts that have huge minor followings and I'm sorry but I do not think that's okay.
Like what if you recently posted something explicit or just retwted something explicit and a huge flock of sfw accounts see your strike or donation post and decide to check your account out. They are going to IMMEDIATELY be smacked in the face with explicit artwork 😬
I just can't agree with mixing both sides because of the amount of minor sfw accounts that are interacting specifically with strike or donation posts. I don't think it's worth it to not only expose yourself, but everyone who follows and regularly interacts with you on the NSFW side to harassment, OR to subject minors who stumble on your account from your boycott/strike/donation posts, to explicit content you have recently posted or retwted.
Like I legitimately have seen an 11 year old who is a very loud boycotter on the sfw side who has a decent following, interact with MULTIPLE NSFW accounts that have posted something about the strike/boycott or donation posts. I don't know if just retwting already posted twts would do this or not but I DO NOT trust Melon Husks fuckery with this stupid platform to not recommend my account to sfw accounts because of my retwt.
Sorry if this is something you don't agree with, I just had to say something because I have seen MULTIPLE people get harrassed by sfw accounts for doing this and also MULTIPLE people get death and harassment threats from NSFW accounts because they didn't do that. Like at this point you're damned if you do and damned if you don't 😕
hi anon! I didn't really think about that side of things too deeply before, but it did cross my mind, especially around the strike, and it is a real concern that we shouldn't dismiss so easily.
I can say that for the time being I'm trying to keep an even closer and more critical eye on who interacts with my posts or follows me, so I can monitor if there are min0rs or big sf₩ accounts sneaking in and I can either block or sb. It's also one of the reasons why I'm keeping my posts relatively scarce, so they're easier to check.
However, if things get too difficult or overwhelming to keep in check, I don't exclude locking down for a whole and stopping the sharing of any kind of sf₩ post until I can get back on tracks with managing my the account.
I'm really sorry if my sharing has caused you issues with sf₩ or min0rs getting on your tl, and I'm of course open to discussing this further in dms, especially if you have specific accounts that I can block to keep off of here.
