ahhhh i understand now🩷

okay so the thing about this fic is that i really dislike it, wish i will always preface when i talk about it. honestly it was written a really long time ago at this point, and i was a far weaker writer and got way too ambitious and in over my head with it. i think about deleting it and rewriting at some point pretty often, but i have also received a ton of nice words about it too. it’s definitely flawed since it was my first work, and i don’t like how i portrayed a lot of the relationships and i think it would genuinely be such a different fic if i wrote it today lmao!! i’ve been working on my writing and trying to improve my narratives, character arcs, and endings for awhile now, so i think ive definitely changed from that fic. not to like diss myself but i was really just amateurish and i definitely intended for the ending to not be satisfactory for everyone, but it was rushed and kinda ill fitting so! chanlix totally ran its course for many readers but i planned from the beginning to not break them up— i can’t really undo that past decision😢. if i were to write it today, i think id just put more thought into everything, like WAYY more. i can’t say i would completely change the two boyfriend ending but i would’ve taken a different route to get there.

tldr: not my best moment, but also was literally my debut so i hope you can give me a little bit of leniency 🥺!! i have better fics since and no author is perfect, but i still do appreciate the feedback even after all this time. i do think about that fic often and i have many of my own gripes with it, but i haven’t reached full dissatisfaction to the point where ill delete it and rewrite quite yet lol!
