hey i just wanted to say thank you for the space you've created on twt. i find myself feeling silly/foolish for being so upset/disappointed by the kids' behavior/choices, and your page reminds me that im not alone. that yes, the actions of celebrities aren't everything, and don't need to inform my own choices or morals, but at the same time it's okay to be hurt when people you think highly of align themselves with people who do and believe horrifying things. i just wanted you to know that im so appreciative of the messages you chose to elevate. thank you, and have a lovely day. 💜
this is really kind of you, and something I needed to hear too. I've been extremely disillusioned with them and other stays lately. I can hope and wish that the kids will take a public stand all I want, but Palestinian liberation is what really matters in the end, so I'm focusing on that as much as I can.
