i didn't look at the other questions, so i can't speak for those, but i definitely agree that at least in the one about spanking people are probably associating it with top/bottom when for me it's not even about that. i can't see hj enjoying spanking anyone at all, regardless of whether he's topping or bottoming. even if he were to dom, which i do enjoy !! (obv i just wrote a dom bttm hj fic alfjsjskd) i just get the vibe he would find himself spanking his sub too corny or embarrassing. whereas receiving he'd find it embarassing as well but in a horny way lol. i do find it interesting that the two voted most likely to enjoy spanking someone (hj and jh) are the two members most commonly depicted/perceived (wrongly) as cold/stoic/bad with emotions. not to say that's why EVERYONE voted them the way they did, but it's just an interesting observation that could correlate. no hate to anyone who thinks different from me, i just don't get those vibes from hj in particular at all, whereas i do from sh, regardless of who's the top/bottom, dom/sub, alpha/omega etc etc
