i totally respect fest rules regarding anything that they deem inappropriate, however, shouldn't you mention these rules BEFORE the prompting period instead of suddenly implementing them after claiming has already started? or at least give time to the prompter to modify the prompts like other fests do? ngl it lowkey feels like the mod is unfair and maybe even biased to certain ship(s). i will respectfully discontinue my participation in this fest. hoping for transparency for the next season

While I appreciate you looking out for your fellow prompters, I mentioned in the thread that I originally left them in for this exact reason, that I clearly knew it hadn't been mentioned in the Carrd and that was why it was left up for so long. But I chose to listen to the concerns brought up to me, and I apologize if you felt like it wasn't handled correctly! But I don't think it's fair to say I haven't been transparent when I clearly stated everything that happened 🩷 I understand if it wasn't an answer you were hoping for, but I had been completely transparent about the whole situation!

Also, I understand you're upset, but no reason to accuse me of being biased towards certain ships! This shows me you read the entire thread I shared of me explaining the situation, yet cherry picked what information suited your accusations. I was fully transparent about the concerns brought up to me, how I handled it, and why I did. If you genuinely were upset and felt wronged, DMs for the fest were open (and they were on my personal account until yesterday) so there is no shame in reaching out to discuss things with me like the others who chose to bring up their concerns did. I'm willing to listen and discuss! If you want to bring something up with the fest next time, don't hesitate to reach out and talk about it, instead of ranting anonymously here 🩷

Hi, thanks for bringing it up!! I'll be periodically checking all the prompts to be sure no one's claimed them early, so the claim has already been deleted!!

Self-prompts will absolutely be allowed! 🩷 Self-prompting will be added for everyone to claim right before claiming opens, so you might not see it on Ao3 until claiming officially opens!

Hello! Sorry about that! I just added it to the tab with the other forms! <3 The form itself has more information about the extension!

There should have also been a link to it in the last update email if that helps!

Hi! I’ve never done a fest before .. am I able to submit a fic I’ve already written and one I’m currently posting?

Hi, hi! Welcome to the fest side of the fandom! 🧡

Unfortunately, you're unable to submit a fic that you've already written. For this fest, you need to claim one of the available prompts we have on Ao3 here: https://archiveofourown.org/collections/yoongifest2023/requests or claim a self-prompt if you want to write your own idea! If something says it's already claimed, you're not able to claim it too since we're working off of one claim per prompt. After you claim your prompt, there's a claim form that you have to fill out, which lets the fest mods know who you are and what you'll be writing! You can find that form here: https://forms.gle/BromESTtR91EnuUX8

After claiming on Ao3 and submitting this form, you'll receive a confirmation email from the fest within 72 hours letting you know that you're good to go and you can start working on your writing!

ahhhh i didn't realise it was 1 claim per prompt, i was trying to decide between and when i checked back both were claimed 😭

did you get permission to use the artist's artwork for your fest icon? or did you just take it?

This icon was specifically commissioned! I commissioned @greenmoonie for this icon and for it to be used for this fest! 🧡
